New year art

Let me just start out by saying Happy New Year! I can’t believe the year is already over and it’s now 2023. It feels like just two days ago it was January 1st of 2022!

The start of a new year is a great time to start making New Year’s resolutions. So, take the time to set goals for yourself! My New Year’s resolution is to get better at drawing dynamic poses and accurately capturing perspective!

New Year, New Look

For the new year, I decided to change my avatar’s look! Here is my 2021 avatar:

I use my avatar in the intro part of my videos. The avatar expresses my blog’s message and vibes, so it is a very important part of my blog.

For the new year, I wanted to express an enthusiastic, spontaneous vibe, so instead of the pastel colors I used in my 2021 avatar, I decided to go all-out and use bright and flashy colors!

I used mainly florescent pink and yellow colors for my new avatar, and I added star glasses to further express the feeling I wanted to show.

I’m really excited about my new design, so I hope you like it, too! For this special post, I’m going to be drawing my new avatar!
