How to shade faces 3 ways

In this guide, you will learn how to shade faces with three different light sources. You are free to use the base below to follow along, as long as you give credit to me (Chong) if you post your practice online.

Choosing your light source

In this tutorial, I have already chosen three light sources, but if you want to practice on your own later, you can experiment with different light sources. To clearly plot your light source, I sketch a small sun on a different layer where I want the light to be. Of course, I remove that layer once I’m finished shading and highlighting.
