I draw your oc—5

Hello, my friends, and welcome to I Draw Your OC! #5.

I realized I haven’t done this in SO LONG, so here ya go world!!

As most of you know, I do choose randomly, so I used a random number generator to decide which OC to draw for you today. This time around, I got forty-five submissions, which so far is my record!

I generated the numbers and I got the number: 2!

So, the OC Muna submitted is one named Bush! Bush’s design is really cute and the colors of her outfit and hair stand out really well. I was pretty excited to draw her!

For this one, I decided to draw the OCs traditionally. So, I grabbed the biggest bag of Ohuhu markers I could find and got to work! (I ended up grabbing the Ohuhu 320 fine and chisel set.)

First I sketched out what I wanted the drawing to look like. I went for a straight-on pose from the knees-up because, reading about Bush’s personality, I got the feeling that she was really confident. And a really confident character wouldn’t be standing in a shy way, would they? (Artist reasoning)

I tried my best to match the colors up correctly to the marker colors! (Sorry, Muna, if I got some wrong…)

I enjoyed coloring Bush’s hair and part of her tail. For some reason, her blue-gray eyes really stand out to me! (Okay, that might have been really random, but…)

But anyway, coloring went by easily for me. I would show you images of the sketch and the work-in-progress like I usually do, but I totally forgot to take the photos. Sorry!
