How to draw a manga girl

In this week’s post, I teach you how to draw an easy manga girl.

STEP ONE

FIrst, draw a circle. Don’t worry, it doesn’t really have to be perfect.

STEP TWO

Next, add the other guidelines. Draw these lightly because you will have to erase them later on.

STEP THREE

Then, draw two lines on either side of the circle you drew, making sure they meet at the line in the center to make the chin.

STEP FOUR

Draw two lines underneath the chin, making the neck. Don’t make them too close or too far apart, or else it might look odd.

STEP FIVE

Draw the body of the person just below the neck.

STEP SIX

Draw two circles for the shoulders.

STEP SEVEN

Draw some lines coming from the shoulder circles down as the arms.

STEP EIGHT

Then, draw the eyes. See  for a more detailed instruction.

STEP NINE

Draw the nose and mouth. If you would like a more detailed instruction, please let me know in the comments!

STEP TEN

Draw the hair. I can cover this step in a more detailed instruction in a future post if you would like me to.

STEP ELEVEN

Lastly, give her some clothes. I gave her a cute T-shirt, but you can choose differently if you want. Then erase the guidelines, and you’re done!
