I Draw Your OC! #1

Today I will be drawing one of my readers’ original characters! This week’s character was given to me by CherrieMilku.

I really like Akari’s design and was looking forward to drawing her!!!

First I drew the rough draft of what I wanted Akari to be doing. At first, I had her sitting down near a christmas tree, putting up lights, but I didn’t have enough time to draw that pose, so I went with this one.

Next, I filled in the lineart. I feel like a made the fingers way too long, but by the time I realized that it was too late. I was trying to make it look like Akari was looking at the screen, but I’m not sure if that’s how it turned out to be.

I had a lot of fun coloring Akari’s outfit. Her hair was tricky because it was so dark, but after a little while I decided it looked fine.
